How to sync your Reelzy calendar with Google Calendar, FishingBooker or Airbnb

Updated 26 October 2026

Open your listing’s Calendar page (or the Booking rules step of the listing wizard) and use the Sync calendars box. It works both ways: other calendars can block days on Reelzy, and your Reelzy calendar can block days on other sites. You can set it up before the listing is published.

Block days on Reelzy from another calendar

  1. Copy the iCal link (it usually ends in .ics) of the other calendar:
    • Google Calendar: on a computer, open Settings, pick the calendar under “Settings for my calendars” and copy Secret address in iCal format.
    • FishingBooker: in your FishingBooker dashboard, open the calendar of the charter and copy its iCal export link.
    • Airbnb: open the listing’s calendar, then Availability, Connect to another website, and copy the Airbnb calendar link.
    • Outlook or Apple Calendar: publish or share the calendar and copy the link that starts with https:// or webcal://.
  2. On Reelzy, in Sync calendars, give it a name (for example “FishingBooker”), paste the link and press Add calendar.
  3. Reelzy reads it at once and tells you how many busy days it blocked. After that it reads it again every hour.

Each calendar in the list shows when it was last synced. Press Sync now to read it straight away, or Remove to unlink it: the days it blocked open again. Days you blocked yourself on the Reelzy calendar are never touched.

If a calendar shows an error, the link is usually private, expired or opens a web page instead of the calendar file. Copy the iCal export link again and add it. While a link fails, the days from its last good sync stay blocked.

Show your Reelzy bookings in another calendar

  1. In Sync calendars, press Copy link next to Your Reelzy calendar link.
  2. Paste it where the other site asks for a calendar to import:
    • Google Calendar: Other calendars, the plus button, From URL.
    • FishingBooker or Airbnb: the calendar import or “connect another calendar” option.

Days that are fully booked or blocked on Reelzy show there as busy. Each site decides how often it reads the link, so changes can take a few hours to appear there.

Good to know

  • All trips of the listing are closed on a day another calendar marks as busy, including all-day events.
  • Cancelled events do not block anything. Any other event does, all-day or timed, so keep only your bookings and days off in the calendar you link.
  • Days blocked by an imported calendar are not sent back out in your Reelzy link, so two linked calendars never keep each other’s days closed.
