Referral programme for captains

Two tools for captains: a bonus for bringing other captains to Reelzy, and a direct booking link for your own clients.

Invite a captain, get £100

  1. Open Invite friends in your account and send your invite link to a captain.
  2. They sign up through the link within 30 days and list their boat.
  3. When they complete their first paid trip of £150 or more within 180 days of signing up, you earn £100.
  4. We check the trip and pay the bonus to your bank account from 14 days after the trip, and e-mail you when it is sent.

Anyone can invite a captain, guests included. The new captain pays 0% commission, like every captain on Reelzy.

If you have a published listing, the same page shows your direct booking link and its QR code. Guests who open it pay no Reelzy booking fee on your boats for 60 days, and if you include the guest fee in your price, you do not pay it on those bookings either. Put it in your Instagram bio, on your website or on a card at the dock, and send it to the regulars who book with you directly. They still get secure online payment, trip reminders and the chance to review you.

The link opens your boat, or your profile if you have more than one. It counts for that guest’s bookings on your boats only, including trips you approve or offer to them in the chat.

Terms

  • The invited captain must be new to Reelzy and sign up through your link. One bonus per captain.
  • The first paid trip must be a real booking: a trip booked by you, the person who invited, does not count, and neither does a refunded trip.
  • Up to 10 rewards per year, credits and bonuses together. We may hold or cancel a reward that looks like misuse.
  • The bonus is paid in pounds sterling by bank transfer. We ask for your bank details if we do not have them.
  • This programme replaces the earlier share of Reelzy’s commission, which no longer applies now that captains pay 0% commission.
  • Reelzy may change or end the programme. Rewards already earned stay valid.
